Our warranty covers any manufacturing defects for the lifetime of your Hatchet Scissors. We've got your back against in the unlikely circumstance of manufacturing glitches. Scratches and accidental damage aren't part of our warranty, but any manufacturing faults are on us.

Original Craftsmen Sharpening: Absolutely!
In the world of Hatchet, our Craftsmen use only the finest materials for lasting durability. However, to maintain peak performance, occasional professional sharpening maybe required. Our strong recommendation? Let the very artisans who created them handle the sharpening and servicing in-house. After all, they know these tools inside and out.

Consider your scissors your hairstyling BFFs. Show them some TLC, and they'll never let you down in your hair escapades.

Our recommendations:
Regular Cleaning: After each use! at least daily..., wipe down your scissors with a clean, soft cloth. This removes hair, product residue, and moisture that can lead to corrosion.
Oil Maintenance: Keep your scissor joint lubricated by applying scissor oil to the pivot area. This ensures smooth movement and prevents unnecessary friction. Hatchet Scissor oil is organic non petroleum based that is soft and protecting. We do not recommend the use of clipper or machine oils that are petroleum based mineral oils.
Adjust Tension: Maintain scissor tension by regularly adjusting the screw. Smooth movement is key to precise cuts. What is the right tension?
Storage: Keep the kids safe... in case preferably to prevent damage and dust accumulation.
Manufacture Sharpening: While all Hatchet Collections are designed for durability, periodic professional sharpening service keeps them performing at their peak. We recommend this by our craftmen at place of Manufacture.
